“The Consciousness of the Body is more powerful than the Consciousness of the Mind.”

What's the Story You Tell Yourself?
A MANTRA is a sacred utterance, sound or group of words held by religious fractions to have psychological and spiritual power. You can see a deacon, priest or Hindu chant but the earliest mantras were composed at least 3000 years ago, in the Vedic time period by Hindus in India. "It is thought that the utterance of different words has its impact on different glands and by such impact the energy of these glands gets stimulated (4)" -Rishi Joshi. If the fat girl succeeds in stimulating fat cells to accumulate in her body, what is this subliminal mantra she is saying to herself? In today's America, statistics show that an incredible 65.2 percent of the U.S. population is considered to be obese.
I experienced the ups and down's of weight gain and weight loss. In my case things were simple- I knew how to lose weight as a fitness instructor and female fighter with tons of years of experience, but, complicated- I had a perverse love of food! When I say perverse I mean, I fantasize about the curves on a chocolate dessert, the way a man or wo
man fantasizes about their sister-in law. I mean there was a problem right there, and then the problematic weight gain. Then, the subliminal messages of "I'm fat"I would say over and over again...
If there was a fat girl mantra what would it be?
Conscious Eating Link.
The Fat Girl Mantra
A mantra that leads her to gain weight (statements of fat repeatedly in her mind).
A mantra she tells her friends. Example- let's go out for happy hour (and eats junk food!) all in all gaining all that weight over time.
A mantra that doesn't intend to but has the opposite effect of what she wants, leading her to eat more (like when people tell me to stop eating sugar, it makes me crave more sugar!)
A feeling of hunger all the time, regardless of age, is truly the worst thing for a person to put on weight. Greed is the end-all. Obviously, you don't end up eating healthy snacks cos those are boring. You salivate over bad snacks, alcohol, soda, etc and keep telling yourself you didnt really eat a huge snack. And so it goes...
There are always people, not necessarily your buddies, who will respond to your clarion call to eat out! Whether it's junk food, alcohol or any restaurant food cooked in lards' of butter, even though your companions change, you're the constant. Therefore, constantly adding fat to your body. When you do this you know deep down inside you're hurting yourself, so you keep telling yourself your fat mantra- "I'm fat, I have to lose weight!"
....but obviously, you're too busy being gluttonous to exercise today. So you say you'll start tomorrow. And so it goes...
Fat Cells Seem To Remember An Unhealthy diet
According to 2018 research by the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen, precursor fat cells-cells that have not yet matured to become a specific function in the body-take 24 hours to have their 'epigenetic recipe' on how to correctly develop into a mature fat cell, reprogrammed (5). Within so-called epigenetic research, several studies have suggested that human precursor cells have a remembrance of past environmental exposures through the food we eat. This is especially disconcerting to the cells in our body if the foods we eat contain large amounts of saturated fat and meat.
Tumor necrosis factor or TNF-alpha, is a cell signaling protein (cytokine) and an inflammatory hormone that is secreted in the body when you get sick. It is also found in high levels in obese patients. The secretion of TNF-alpha, in obesity is linked to systemic inflammation (5). So, we must not delay to acknowledge that the key to prevent the reprogramming of our precursor cells is a healthy diet and healthy lifestyle.
The primary role of TNF is in the regulation of immune cells. Other functions of TNF are- it can induce a fever, cell death, cachexia, impede tumor genesis and viral replication, respond to sepsis and is a significant player in autoimmune disease and inflammation. Let's be clear, in a healthy body, TNF causes inflammation to fight off pathogens as seen in a fever and protect your body from infections. If you say that TNF is super beneficial to your friends with asthma, RA or psoriatic arthritis you are likely to get a stark stare! For people with autoimmune disease, the body does not know who to attack when it is challenged by extrinsic factors. It tends to go after healthy cells in your lungs or joint, by mistake of course! Then the body gets flooded with Mr. Inflammation Promoter- Tumor necrosis factor causing major unease unwanted inflammation.
We hope our study may be at the origin of new strategies to reverse the abnormal programming of fat precursor cells, making them healthy and functional once again', says Romain Barrès, who is at the head of the new research (5).
-International Journal of Obesity, 17.09.2018
While scientists today know that a precursor cell alternatively a unipotent stem cell -a stem cell which has the capacity to differentiate into only one cell type, can be disturbed by a fast food diet before they have matured, causing the development of a dysfunctional fact cell later in life, researchers are hopeful to uncover new strategies to reverse the reprogramming of fat precursor cells, making them healthy and functional again (5). This reprogramming is devitalizing in obese patients suffering from type 2 diabetes
Fat cells can be damaged in a short amount of time when they are exposed to the fatty acid palmitate or the hormone TNF-alpha through a fatty diet.

Change Your Program Today
Think of it as if each cell in your body has a recipe book or manuscript with programs that describe to the cells 'How to develop into Mature cells.' The body tells the stem cells which can occur from either embryos or adult body tissues (think liver, skin, bone marrow etc), "you go over there and become all-purposeful Magical cells."Then the body, looks at the cells within our fat tissues and instructs the cells and assigns which pages to read in order to develop into fat cells. Suddenly, you eat a High Fat Happy Meal which triggers an inflammatory cascade and the release of large amounts of palmitate or TNF-alpha which alter some of the English words to Russian letters. Now the impressionable cells do not have access to all the instructions in the cook book to become a well brought up mature cell; it will not develop with the right cellular program. These are still gonna be fat cells, but dysfunctional ones.
'We now know that precursors cells can be reprogrammed in a way that function is impaired at the final stage of their development, but so far no one has discovered how to reverse the process. But it is a promising field', says Scientist Romain Barrès.
We may not have discovered how to reverse the faulty programs of our precursor cells but we can change the subliminal messages we send to ourselves that can only result in defeat if they are negative. In order to successfully adopt habits that can change our behavior, we have to think differently on the inside.
